Terms of use
Last updated October 3, 2026
By using Kara3 (“the site”), operated by Chiwa.net (“we”), you agree to these terms.
The service
The site is a free tool for editing YouTube srv3 and other subtitles in your browser. We may change, suspend or stop all or part of it at any time without notice.
Your content
Subtitles, project files and anything else you make or edit with the site belong to you; we gain no rights to them. Lyrics, videos and other material may be protected by copyright, so make sure you have the right to use, change and publish them. Content you upload to YouTube or other platforms must follow that platform's terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site for anything illegal, and don't interfere with or attack it.
Third-party services and links
The site uses third-party services such as the YouTube player, Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which have their own terms. By using the YouTube player in the site, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Links to other sites, ads included, lead to sites we do not control and are not responsible for. For how the site handles data, see the privacy policy.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”. We don't promise that it is free of errors, always available, or that the subtitles you make will display correctly on YouTube or other platforms. Your work is kept in your browser and can be lost, for example when browser data is cleared, so save and back up your files yourself.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, including lost data, that results from using or not being able to use the site. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Taiwan. This does not take away the protection that the mandatory consumer laws of your country give you.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms and will publish the changes on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you agree to the new terms.
